| A very proud mother, Liz's children were growing up and she decided
that it was time to start her career. She had been very active in
her local community and was looking for an opportunity to use her
organisational skills while she was working with others. A very
effective fundraiser, sales seemed a natural option. Liz enrolled on
the Retailing in the Bay of Plenty programme at the end of 2007, after
hearing her sister Emma talk about it. She want on to complete the
course, including extension activities, and was offered a temporary
contract with The Warehouse.
Five months later, Liz is on a permanent contract, her store manager
can't speak highly enough of her and she is regularly being given extra
responsibilities - which fits in with Liz's plan of becoming part of the
management team! |
