Just the job!

Nineteen-year-old Camilla Maxwell was an early school leaver who, until four months ago, was on the dole.

Life on a benefit made every day into a tiring struggle, she said.  “It just wasn’t enough money to live on really. I was getting bored at home and really wanted to find work. It was through the help of my EmployNZ caseworker, Glen Haack, that I’ve got a job today,” she said.

Ms Maxwell is now employed with New World Kawerau in the deli department which, she said, has proved a massive change for the better.

“It’s good, I really enjoy it here. I’m happier working as my days are now occupied,” Ms Maxwell said.
